How to Join

Civil Air
Patrol Senior Membership
|
Prerequisites for Senior Membership
-
Possess the
desire, willingness, and capability to
promote the objectives and purposes of
the
Civil Air Patrol.
-
Must be at
least 18 years old. Active duty members
of the Armed Forces can join the CAP as a
senior member at any age.
-
United
States citizens or aliens lawfully
admitted for permanent residence in the
U.S.
-
No felony
conviction by any court of record,
whether federal, state or military.
-
No pattern
of arrests and/or convictions including
but not limited to sex offenses, child
abuse, Driving Under the Influence of
Alcohol (DUI), dishonesty, and violence.
-
Submit your
fingerprints for a background check
-
Prior active duty
members of the military must have been discharged under
honorable conditions.
-
Complete a CAP
application
-
Pay dues
(see below)

National,
Wing, and Group Dues
-
Initial annual National
Dues are $75.00 payable to CAP
National Headquarters for national, wing,
and group dues.
-
Renewal
annual National Dues are $65.00.
-
Membership
year ends on the last day of the
month in which National Headquarters
approves the membership application.
