Adults
All our flights adhere to the adult program. The Senior
Members Flight meets at the Squadron Headquarters, San Marcos Airport, on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the
month. The Senior Members Flight is an adults-only
unit that devotes itself to the Emergency Services,
Aviation, and Operational aspects of CAP as part of
their normal, routine meetings. It is open to all
adults, not just pilots.
The other subordinate
units are
composite flights, meaning that they have both an
adult program and a cadet program. Cadets plan and run
their own program, with adult oversight by Cadet Program
Officers. Most adults in these flights also have
children who are cadets. The adults engage in the Senior
Member program and are effectively integrated with the
cadets. Most adults in these flights, however, are not Cadet
Program Officers.

Youth
Young people between the ages of 12 and 18 are invited
to join any flight, except for the Senior Members Flight. All
composite flights have strong, exciting, and
rewarding programs.
We have vigorous and successful cadet program in
Wimberley.
Cadets get to do things
that NO OTHER youth organization allows. Tex
Hill cadets have responded to real emergencies and are
treated like young men and women, not children.
For the cadet and his/her
parents, the Civil Air Patrol is a family activity.
Typically, cadets that progress and do well also have parents
that are involved to some degree in the program. We
invite all interested youth and their parents to join
us.
